Maths Challenge

If you can tell Mrs Shaw the size of the missing angles, a and b, show her your working on a scrap piece of paper and you can put your name in the box for Friday's draw. 

Room 1 Maths

Miss Madden has been teaching us about angles in maths. We have learnt about acute, obtuse, reflex, straight and right angles. She has also taught us that 'angles on a straight line add up to 180°' and that 'angles in a triangle add to 180°'

PE in Room 1

While Miss Madden has been in our class she has been teaching us about fielding and batting to improve our skills so we can win back the "Challenge Trophy". We then got to practise what we had learnt with a game.

Kisses for Fishes

One tropical and sunny morning I went down to the seashore for a swim. I saw four tropical fish which I liked, but one stood out like a sore thumb! Suddenly it was swimming towards my face and this is what I did, "I kissed a fish and I liked it, the taste of it's big old fish lips."
