Our Idols.

In class, as part of our homework, we had to present to the class a short presentation about who our idol is. So far we have had a wide variety of people as idols, from sports stars to ordinary people we know. Kaitlin's idol is Mark Todd, which is very fitting as he has just been in the news for winning Badminton for his forth time, after first winning the three day equestrian event 31 years ago. He also won back-to-back gold medals for New Zealand at the Olympic Games. Mark Todd thinks his new horse Land Vision has a good chance of winning an Olympic medal.
Who is somebody you respect and look up to as an idol? What makes you choose them?

    My idol is a Vet because they help you out when your animal is sick or hurt.Th 8^)

    My idol is Gabrielle Chanel because she is such a style icon and her designs changed the fashion world completely. Designers before were mainly men that designed tight fitting, heavily decorated dresses with corsets. Her designs did not have corsets and were simple and plain, yet stunning.MHW

    Celine Dion is also a idol of mine. She's my singing idol because if I do not become a fashion designer I want to be a singer and she has sang so many songs and ballads that have left the listeners gobsmacked with her big beautiful voice. You would probably know her from the song My heart will go on off the drama movie Titanic.MHW
